Job Opening: Store Sales Executive for Premium Artifacts, Idols, Paintings & Home Decor Shop

We are looking for a smart, presentable, active, and responsible Sales Executive for our premium artifacts, idols, paintings, sculptures, and home decor store.

This is not a casual sitting job. We need someone who can properly handle customers, explain products, remember prices, maintain the store well, and actively help increase sales.

The candidate must be polite, confident, well-spoken, good at sales and willing to learn about all products in the shop.

Main Responsibilities

The selected person will be responsible for:

Handling walk-in customers professionally.

Explaining products clearly, including idols, paintings, artifacts, sculptures, decor pieces, materials, sizes, prices, and usage.

Knowing the price of every product or being able to quickly check and tell the correct price.

Learning the story, design, material, and value of important products so customers feel confident buying.

Speaking to customers in a respectful and convincing way.

Helping customers choose products based on their home, office, gifting needs, budget, and taste.

Maintaining a clean, premium, and organized store appearance.

Keeping products properly arranged and dust-free.

Following up with interested customers when required.

Taking customer details when needed.

Informing the owner about serious buyers, bulk buyers, high-value customers, or special requests.

Helping with basic inventory checking.

Making sure no product is misplaced, mishandled, or damaged.

Being alert, active, and attentive during work hours.

Language Requirements

Candidate should know:

Hindi

English

Konkani

Good communication is important. The person does not need perfect English, but should be able to speak politely and confidently with customers. Excellent sales skills are also needed for this job.

Candidate Requirements

We are open to male or female candidates.

Age is not a major issue, but the candidate must be 18 years or older.

The ideal candidate should be:

Presentable and well-groomed

Polite and respectful

Good at talking to customers

Interested in sales

Active, not lazy or casual

Willing to learn product details and prices

Honest and responsible

Comfortable dealing with different types of customers

Able to maintain the store properly

Able to work seriously without constant supervision

Previous experience in retail sales(eg: showroom sales, decor, furniture, jewelry, clothing, gifting, luxury goods) or customer handling will be preferred.

Important

We do not want someone who only comes to sit at the shop.

We want someone who can learn the products, speak properly with customers, explain value, handle objections, and help close sales.

The shop sells premium products, so customer handling must be professional and respectful.

Salary

Salary: ₹5,000 to ₹10,000 per month fixed, depending on experience and ability.

Additional sales-based incentives can be given for good performance.

First month will be a probation/trial period. Final salary and incentives will depend on performance, punctuality, customer handling, and sales ability.
