Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and hardworking Fiber Optic Technician to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for fiber cable installation, splicing, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of FTTH/ISP network systems.

Responsibilities

Install and maintain fiber optic cables and network equipment.

Perform fiber splicing using fusion splicing machines.

Conduct OTDR testing and power level checking.

Troubleshoot fiber connectivity and signal issues.

Handle FTTH customer installations and fault repairs.

Maintain proper cable routing and fiber documentation.

Work on OLT, splitter, joint closure, and termination box setups.

Ensure safety standards during field work.

Coordinate with network and support teams.

Required Skills

Knowledge of FTTH, GPON, EPON, and fiber optic networks.

Experience with fusion splicer and OTDR devices.

Basic understanding of networking and ISP infrastructure.

Ability to climb poles and work in field conditions.

Good troubleshooting skills.

Basic computer and reporting knowledge.
