**Job Summary:**

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Pick up food orders from designated restaurant locations and ensure they are correctly packed.

- Deliver orders to customers following the assigned routes and delivery schedules.

- Verify the accuracy of orders before delivery.

- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any maintenance issues.

- Follow food safety standards and company policies.

- Handle cash transactions or digital payments when required.

- Communicate effectively with the dispatch team regarding order status or delivery issues.

- Assist with promotional activities, such as distributing flyers or promotional materials to customers.

- Report any customer feedback, complaints, or concerns to the management team.

- Ensure food containers are stored securely to prevent spills or damage.

- Maintain records of deliveries, including delivery times, customer feedback, and any incidents encountered.

- Ensure vehicle fuel levels are maintained, and perform routine vehicle checks before starting shifts.

- Assist with packaging and preparing food orders when required.

- Collaborate with the kitchen and dispatch team to manage peak-hour delivery demands effectively.

- Provide guidance to new drivers by sharing tips on efficient delivery routes and customer service best practices.

- Assist in maintaining inventory of delivery supplies, such as insulated bags, utensils, and napkins.

- Perform basic troubleshooting for vehicle issues such as flat tires or battery problems.

- Maintain a professional appearance, including wearing company-provided uniforms if required.

- Ensure compliance with local traffic laws and parking regulations to avoid delays.

**Qualifications and Skills:**

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

- Proven experience as a delivery driver is preferred.

- Strong time management and organizational skills.

- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

- Excellent communication and customer service skills.

- Familiarity with GPS systems and navigation apps.

- Ability to lift and carry food orders safely.

- Knowledge of local streets and neighborhoods is a plus.
