I picked up this car in October 2023 from the first owner who had clocked 42,000 kms. Since then , I’ve used this vehicle to travel between Chennai , Mysore & Kerala for the most parts with very little running inside Mysore city.

Here’s the list of parts I’ve changed during my ownership at VW :

Fuel pump

Boost pressure sensor

Entire clutch kit (only a couple of thousand kms ago)

Front shocks and springs

Rear shocks

MAF sensor

Battery (not your usual Amaron. VW charges 47k for a battery for this car)

All of the above maintenance costed about 3 lakhs. Essentially this is a mechanically fresh car. It gives 8-10 kmpl in the city and 15-16 kmpl on the highway.

The Virtus and Slavia had already been on the market when I bought this car. This car is far more spacious , comfortable and solid compared to them. And the boot can fit a lot of luggage - 510 litre capacity.

Tuner gang will find this car to be a great project since all preventative maintenance and necessary maintenance has been taken care of already.

Only a few cosmetic niggles need attending to. Otherwise it’s phenomenal car. Only reason I’m selling is because my family has grown and I’m looking to get an Innova.

Ps : the VRS 230 wheels in the last photo are still with me. If the buyer is interested , I’m willing to throw those in for an additional 60k inclusive of the tyres
