A Hardware Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, installing, and maintaining computer and electronic hardware systems. This role ensures that hardware components work efficiently, reliably, and safely with software and networks.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop electronic and computer hardware systems

Assemble, install, and configure hardware components

Test and troubleshoot hardware issues and failures

Perform regular maintenance and upgrades of hardware systems

Diagnose faults in circuits, boards, and devices

Work with software and networking teams to ensure compatibility

Prepare technical documentation and reports

Ensure hardware meets quality and safety standards

Provide technical support and guidance when required

Required Skills

Knowledge of computer hardware components (CPU, RAM, motherboard, storage, peripherals)

Understanding of electronics, circuits, and PCB basics

Troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

Familiarity with hardware testing tools and equipment

Basic knowledge of networking hardware

Problem-solving and analytical skills

Good communication and teamwork abilities

Educational Qualification

Diploma / BE / BTech in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or related field

Experience

Freshers or experienced candidates (depending on company requirement)
