Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Delivery Boy to join our team. The Delivery Boy will be responsible for picking up and delivering packages, documents, or food to various locations in a timely and safe manner. The ideal candidate should have excellent time management skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Pick up and deliver items to designated locations within a specified time frame.

Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries, using GPS or navigation apps.

Inspect and maintain the delivery vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.

Load and unload items carefully to prevent damage during transit.

Verify the accuracy of orders before and after delivery.

Collect payments from customers and maintain accurate transaction records, if required.

Provide excellent customer service, addressing any questions or concerns in a professional and friendly manner.

Maintain accurate delivery logs and reports.

Adhere to all traffic laws and road safety regulations.

Promptly report any issues, delays, or accidents to the supervisor.

Requirements and Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.

Familiarity with local roads, neighborhoods, and routes.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Physical fitness and stamina to handle and lift packages.

Ability to work in various weather conditions and during irregular hours (e.g., weekends and holidays).

Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
