Job Description: Grocery Delivery Boy

Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and efficient Grocery Delivery Boy to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that grocery orders are delivered to customers' homes in a timely, safe, and professional manner. This role requires strong time management skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

Load, transport, and deliver grocery orders to customers on assigned routes.

Review orders before and after delivery to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Navigate routes efficiently using GPS or knowledge of the local area.

Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.

Provide exceptional customer service, including being polite and professional when interacting with customers.

Collect payments from customers and provide accurate change if needed.

Maintain clear and organized records of deliveries, payments, and customer interactions.

Handle and resolve any delivery issues or customer complaints promptly and professionally.

Report any issues with the vehicle, such as maintenance needs or accidents, to the supervisor immediately.

Ensure all delivered items are in good condition and maintain the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle.

Qualifications and Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Previous experience in a delivery, courier, or customer service role is a plus.

Strong time management and organizational skills.

Familiarity with GPS devices and navigation apps.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy grocery bags.

Reliable, punctual, and able to work in various weather conditions.

Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.

Working Conditions:

This is a field-based role that requires working outdoors in various weather conditions.

The job may involve working on weekends, evenings, or holidays depending on delivery schedules.
