Here's an extremely beautiful and very rare Gustav Becker clock. As per the database, very few were made, and only four are known to be in existence (two within wooden casings and two under glass domes, all four having the same antique value). The uniqueness is its beautiful rectangular dial and wonderful ornamental filigree hands. Look at the dial itself; it is hand painted, the inner portion of the dial, near the lettering is slightly raised with a curvature. This again is a rarity in GB 400 day clocks. The clock is all original, has its nichrome suspension wire and keeps perfect time. The clock weight tops 3 kg, is fully of brass (including the movement), is 10.5 inches high and 12.5 inches under the dome. The diameter of the base is 7.5 inches The clock runs perfectly well keeping accurate time, and needs to be wound just once a year. The clock dates back to 1912, has a stamped serial number and the signature of GB in the form of the round seal and the round Medal D'or. It comes with its special key.Only serious buyers need contact, as I am in absolutely no hurry to sell this wonderful piece. Currently a similar clock is on sale on ebay for USD 500 (+$ 85 shipping)! Thank you and enjoy the pictures of this wonderful clock, as it keeps ticking away wonderfully in my display case.
