Job Responsibilities:
Operations Management
· Manage a team span of over 200+ people providing
services such as clinical data management and programming services
·
responsible and accountable for all service functions across all therapeutic areas
· Ensure optimum deployment of people and resources to deliver maximum business results
· Ensure efficiency and quality of operations
· Design metrics to evaluate the benefits of process improvements
· Analyze MIS and take corrective action where required
· Manage load sharing across teams and cross training for better productivity
· Manage the therapeutic area leads and team leads in terms of the group achieving their individual and group performance targets; manage any issues arising out of those on a daily basis
· Utilize appropriate methods to gather process effectiveness and improvement feedback and identify gaps in process functionality
· Work with process owners to proactively resolve differences. Define issues, organize cross project sub-teams, and review recommendations
· Ensure adherence to output targets at desired quality levels on a day-to-day basis and for each deliverable
· Ensure complete process documentation, in standard format, including inputs, outputs, steps or sub-processes, controls and business rules, flow charts (opt.), key accountabilities and roles
Finance Management
· Work with finance department and forecast budget for the FY
· Responsible and accountable for the financial performance of the delivery
· Ensure engagement continues to be within the established cost to serve
Resource Management
· Work with IT and facilities representatives to ensure uptime of services, facilities and infrastructure
· Work with HR to ensure timely mobilization of manpower (including definition of JDs and selection of candidates if required, succession planning)
Client Management
· Ensure adherence to client’s policies and procedures
· Maintain procedures in adherence to the client’s policies
· Ensure day-to-day interaction/ coordination with client where required (system downtime, lack of pages in pipeline, certification process, etc)
People Management and Motivation
· Supervise the certification process
· Responsible for ensuring the career development for direct reports
· Represent people issues and other potential escalations with the Sr.VP
· Communicate strategies / initiatives in across the team
