: SME acting as a lead/advocate for quality coding and best practicies
: Enhance, support and follow Expedia Software Development Lifecycle
: Collaborate with our Business Partners, Technical analysts, Testers and Production Support Engineers to implement technical requirements
: Mentor junior level developers by guiding development standards and insights into system architecture
: Independently understands scheduling, cost constraints, and impact to other teams; Make resource and architectural trade:offs based on those factors.
: Anticipates and prevents problems and roadblocks before they occur. Presents technical issues and their impact to management.
: Effectively builds and maintains a network of key contacts across company and leverages these contacts to achieve results.

: Has a comprehensive understanding of the organizations current software applications and tools and in:depth knowledge of programming languages and systems important to the organization.

Hibernate, J2EE App tier components (JDBC, Servlets, JMS, etc.), Java/J2EE design patterns, SOAP Web Services, and stand:alone java
: Solid experience with the full development lifecycle from concept through delivery and 24x7 operations
: Experience in building high performance applications for high transaction, distributed applications supporting operational monitoring, load
balancing, real time debugging, multi:threading, async communications, etc.
