Job Responsibilities:
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Consultant Hydrogeologist to work with our growing India:based team.

You will:
: Take part in a broad range of technical services in the field of hydrogeology, including groundwater impact assessments, baseline hydrogeological studies, geoexchange feasibility studies, and groundwater supply development;
: Under guidance from senior staff, conduct field investigations involving drilling supervision, monitoring well installation, groundwater monitoring, water quality sampling, site instrumentation and aquifer testing. May also be involved in some contaminated site investigations;
: Analyze field data; formulate conclusions and recommendations and repair reports;
: Work under the supervision of a senior team member, with the opportunity to rapidly assume increasing autonomy and responsibility;
: Prepare proposals and design work packages in response to client needs;
: Manage projects according to client:approved scopes of work, and deliver high quality reports on time and within budget.

Job Requirements:
You will have:
: Prior senior consulting experience in India and an enthusiastic and energetic approach
: Strong conceptual skills in groundwater system analysis
: A sound and broad background in geology and in applying hydrogeology to projects during feasibility studies, operations and closure
: A good practical knowledge of applying hydrogeology to slope stability studies
: Strong communication and business development skills and a desire them
: A demonstrable record of delivery of good technical reports on time
: Post:graduate hydrogeology qualifications (first degree may be science or engineering)
: An interest in providing superior physical and contaminant hydrogeology services Desirable attributes:
: Experience in the application of Hydrogeology to problem solving.
: Mining experience.
: Strong technical writing skills.
: Numerical analysis skills.
: Database, GIS and spreadsheet skills.
: Ability to work in a team environment.
: Experience in contaminated groundwater remediation and assessment of wastewater and stormwater discharges to ground would be advantageous.
To be successful in this position you will have approximately 8:10 years experience in hydrogeology, with the majority of that time in active consulting roles. You will also require demonstrable leadership skills and have an interest in mentoring junior staff.
