The network systems operations engineer will have primary responsibility to ensure that all systems remain functional and online.
Monitoring system and network to track the health and status of various systems.
Provide system monitoring, analysis and reporting for SunGard infrastructure using in-build Tools.
Maintain and support network management and systems
To be able to work on CRM (Ticketing Systems)
Understanding the criticality of the problems occurred and troubleshoot to minimize the downtime and the impact.
Will Work in a 24 X 7 Environment (NOC)
Maintain technical expertise, required industry certifications and stay current with new IT technologies.
Position Requirements
Minimum three years industry experience in monitoring, managing and troubleshoot the system and network infrastructure.
Experience on Network troubleshooting for routing, switching technologies.
is having hands on exposure to routing protocols like OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, etc.
Experience in Enterprise environments familiar with Monitoring, Alarm Validation, Escalation & 1st pass resolution.
basic understanding of Systems (Windows, Linux, etc), Networks, Applications, Mail, DNS, Web Servers, etc.
Experience of working on Switching, VLAN, Trunking, L2 & L3 Switches
Strong Network Fundamentals of TCP/IP, Subnetting.
Working experience on ITIL framework
Exhibit strong team work qualities.
Additional Notes
Desired to have CCNP Certification.
Handson & Knowledge of Firewall & Load Balancer Technologies.
Awareness & Knowledge of Sniffers & other networking tools is an added advantage.
