Ericsson services, Inc. is looking for a Network Planner II level candidate. This individual will be expected to:
Design, analyze, plan, document and oversee modification of existing processes and applications supporting network implementation activities.
Develop requirements, test and evaluate new network applications, focusing on performance criteria, and the associated measurement methods.
Prepare the analysis of the short-term and long-term application needs to support capacity measurement-related processes.
Assume responsibility for conducting application architecture design, feasibility, and cost studies.
Conduct analysis of, and facilitate solutions on, processes in support of network capacity and development plan projections.
Develop alternative process scenarios and document requirements impacting changes in applications required in support of related network activities.
Develop complex application models, designs and reports to support capacity plans and cost estimates.
Develop and support applications designed to issue and manage equipment deployment orders based on capacity requirements, project schedules, site conditions and standards.
The Network Planner II will:
Define and create blueprints for Operational Metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for utilization in capacity planning of applications and hardware platforms.
Assists in performing the consulting role on medium to large customer development and infrastructure projects. Maintains a high level of communication and customer support.
Sets direction and determining need for new processes and/or technologies based upon customer requirements. Leads evaluations of potential process and/or product solutions.
Gathers and documents proper end user requirements, determining customer needs, and communicating the benefits of processes and/or technologies. responsible for communicating progress and lessons learned to customer, management and other team members Program Reporting (support report preparations).
Applies excellent process modeling skills. Considered highly knowledgeable in field of expertise.
Required: BS technical/ engineering or relevant experience. 4-6 years capacity related/telecommunications planning experience
Fluent in English (written and oral)
Demonstrated ability to work in a team setting with minimal supervision
Experienced with project management and team leadership
Demonstrated ability to develop and present process and application solutions to the customer
People management skills essential.
Demonstrates capacity for taking ownership of issues through to resolution.
Takes a logical and orderly approach to analyzing problems, organizing work and planning actions.
Ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally.
