Required qualifications/experience

Qualification:- BE – Electrical with  7 to 10 years of exp into operation & maint of electrical equipments like like HT / LT Induction and Synchronous motors ( upto 12 MW ) ,  Transformers ( ranging from 1 MVA, 6.6/0.433 to 35 MVA, 33/11.5  KV ) , Variable Frequency Drives, UPS system etc. Liasioning with  Electrical Inspectorate, Electricity Providers and vendors.

 
 
Principal responsibilities

To achieve and maintain 100 % compliance with IE rules and with operations and engineering directives.
To ensure safe operation and preventive, predictive maintenance of HT/LT electrical equipments to avoid accidents and plant shutdowns / breakdowns on account of failure of electrical equipments.
To identify need of maintenance, plan and execute preventive/predictive maintenance.
To ensure maximum up-time of electrical equipments by assessing and procuring spares and condition monitoring of HT/ LT equipments
To conduct the negotiations with the vendor and help Procurement for purchase of the spares.
To ensure compliance with Internal and Overseas Audits recommendations.
To achieve maximum out of current power tariff  like Power Factor and Load Factor Incentives every month  in the  Electricity Bills by ensuring Unity Power Factor required load factor every month
To assess requirement of engineering changes, get necessary approvals for changes and execute changes.
To train electrical engineer, electricians and other team members for O & M of electrics.
The position will be overall responsible for multi location operations and maintenance.
