Job Title: Lead engineer : Unix Administration

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with strong record of achievement in the IT industry to join the IT team as a Tech lead : UNIX System Administration with in:depth knowledge and hands on expertise in Unix System administration of variety of UNIX flavors. A resourceful go to man to make things happen. Need to possess superb communication and customer:relationship skills. Should strive for excellence. Should be comfortable working both independently and collaboratively. Should be able to understand the global impact of his actions, meet deadlines and calculative risk taker. Should have proven track record of collaboration with system administrators, network administrators, and other IT functions. Should be a certified/trained on ITIL processes and IT operations. Should have independently executed and managed the projects and delivery. Should possess the ability to understand the future needs, customer requirements and translate that information to solutions.
You're Core Responsibilities:
Provide technical leadership to UNIX administration team and perform Keep the light's on operations for customers that spread across regions for the data centers based in US,UK and India.
: Interact directly with internal customers or external service provider to negotiate solutions and implementation specifics and provide support and consultancy for Informatica business communities to ensure successful delivery of various projects.
: Work as Individual contributor as well as show leadership by mentoring/training junior members.
: Communicate regularly with users on systems status, including system changes, problems, enhancements, and potential impacts.
: Should possess ability to generate proactive solutions by anticipating customer needs and ability to create presentations, design diagrams and other documentation. Perform documentation of environment and Produce Capacity and Performance Reports.
: Perform 2nd/3rd level in:depth support for hardware and OS diagnostics. Involve in escalations and support.
: Recommend efficiencies in the UNIX/other admin organizations.
