Yahoo! India is looking for a Display advertising sale professional to join our Media Sales team. Candidate MUST have a deep understanding of the Online Media and Agency business model. Candidate will be expected to function in a volume and target driven environment and drive market growth from newer market segments.
As a Group Sales Manager your primary responsibilities will be:-
•
responsible for leading a team of 3-5 display sales executives who are based in Bangalore but acquire and manage clients on a PAN India basis through phone, email and occasional client visits.
• This team’s primarily focus is to drive revenue growth through small digital advertisers, in all likelihood they would be first time display advertisers. Team is responsible for nurturing these clients and growing them through performance and value.
• As Manager you would be expected to manage high potential clients directly and lead by example. Ensure that you develop a deep understanding of these clients requirement and demonstrate value for Yahoo! services on an ongoing basis.
• Focus on basic metrics on a daily basis such as funnel
management and growth, no of calls, new clients addition, upsell, lead conversion, daily revenue run rate etc.
• Drive team to consistently exceed sales goals, demonstrate focused sales efforts, fully trained on Yahoo! products and business model and above all build a winning team
• Train team to have a deep understanding and ability to analyze client ROI, media buying cycles, marketing philosophy, target demographics, macro advertising environment/trends etc.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Graduation with MBA (preferred)
• 8+ yrs of sales experience, with at least 2-3 years in display advertising sales
• At least 2-3 yrs of experience in handling a team.
• Demonstrated record of success in a goal oriented, highly accountable, sales environment.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a sales team
• Professional demeanor, superior phone skills, excellent verbal and written
communication skills
• Deep understanding and passion for marketing and the Internet
• Intuitive/
creative thinker, Problem identifier and solver, Able to handle multiple priorities
• Ability to adapt to a changing environment quickly and easily
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
