Prior experience in contributing to Drupal project (core/contributed modules) an added advantage
Open source orientation 
Performance tuning, refactoring, security issues of Drupal
Linux and web server technologies
Knowledge of MySQL database, query tuning, database design
Shell scripting / Python scripting an advantage
R&D skills 
Experience & Responsibilities
6-8 years experience in PHP
4-5 years experience in Drupal development
Mentoring Drupal development team technically
Develop new offerings based on research of PHP open source technologies in different domains such as CMS, CRM, ERP etc
Contribute to the Drupal open source project
Performance tuning of LAMP stack and Drupal
Architecture consultancy for projects using Drupal
