Business Objects Developer - India

Mandatory Requirements:
Exp in Business Objects XI Release 2 / 3 Enterprise with Min of 2 E2E Implementations
Exp in Xcelsius, Dashboards, Crystal reports & WEBI
Exp in Oracle DB/ SQL Server
Experience working in BI Modeling, Extractors, Enhancements, BEx Reporting, Performance Tuning etc
Hands-on experience in SAP BI-BO Integration
Experience in creating Universe connections in CMC level
Experience in building/enhancing/migrating Universes, Retrieving data using Universes, Personal data files, stored procedures and Freehand SQL methods
Experience in SAP BO integration with SAP and Non –SAP Systems
Hands-on experience with Universe Designer including SAP and Non-SAP Universes
Working knowledge of Windows, Linux, Unix environments
 
Good To have:
Able to work with Functional SAP/ERP teams closely to understand the gaps, coordinate with business on specific business rules and logic and work with data migration
Prepare technical specifications documents based on the functional requirement
Interfacing with clients to define report deliverables and to discuss issues, questions, and   improvements wrt to BO
Extracting existing data to format into presentable reports, charts, and graphs
Recommending new or modified reporting methods and procedures to improve report content and ensure completeness of information
Understanding new system changes as they affect data and reports.
 
Added Advantage:
Experience in Business Objects (5x, 6x, XI R2/3.x) CMC & Administration Activities
Work on the technical details for transforming existing data onto SAP using tools such as BOBJ DS & Oracle DB.
Use SAP Business Objects Data Services to migrate data from legacy to the new SAP instance
Design, create, implement and test dataflows, workflows, scripts, and jobs for multiple projects.
Design the transformation logic (using functions or sql queries) and the data flow from source to target.
Knowledge in data quality and data integrator transforms.
Design/develop/Unit Test all ETL routines in BO DS.
Participating in BO application validation efforts as they pertain to reporting
